Music has always been everything. I hear it in natural/unnatural sounds around me, in my head, even in my dreams. After a few years in the 90's learning to play guitar and basic multitrack recording, I opened a small project studio and began producing local artist in the Port Townsend, WA area. This endeavor continued to Spokane, WA in 2003 and even now in Oregon. I earned a music degree in 2013 in piano performance (which I now teach) and also tune and repair pianos. Music has always been there.
I had always been quite critical of my writings. its for this reason that I spent more time learning to master the performance of instruments and recording technology than writing. When I would write I would quickly discount it as garbage and throw the project out.
Last December (2022) I had a dream that I had died and nobody could find any of my music to listen to. I was gone and there was nothing. I spent my entire life making music and there was nothing out there.
I've decided to jump in to action and start publishing music regularly and developing myself as a musical artist and act.
I've never been limited to a single genre. I've produced rap/hiphop albums, industrial metal, folk, and have even written Jazz arrangements. Instead of picking a stylistic box to put myself in to I'm going to do whatever I want regardless of genre or style.
